As we approach the end of my first quarter as CXPA Board Chair, I want to share an update and give a peek at what to expect from CXPA in the coming months.

At our recent meeting, the Board was briefed on key Q1 activities. I was impressed by the wide range of facts, figures, and progress:

  • The CXPA Open Forum discussion list received an average of 4-6 posts a day, with an average time to first response of 2 hours, 15 minutes. What a great way to get practical advice on your CX questions and challenges from fellow CXPA members in a safe, respectful environment!
  • The CXPA members-only online resource library has grown to more than 750 entries, which you can access by peer-curated Topic Guides or new, improved search functionality. Save time and avoid recreating the wheel by accessing peer contributed sample CX documents, policies, and materials.
  • The CXPA Mentor Match program is nearing four hundred completed mentoring partnerships during the history of the program, with forty mentors available to start new mentorship relationships today. Get individualized counsel and advice or help advance a fellow CXPA member's CX career by serving as a mentor.
  • CXJobBoard.com has fifty-nine current job postings and 370 active uploaded resumes, with just under 2,000 visits to the job listings section on CXPA.org. Great candidates are being connected to great opportunities. Half of the recent postings were from outside the U.S., and four out of five included a preference for the CCXP certification.
  • CXPA has surpassed 52,000 followers on LinkedIn, and more than 2,000 visits per month to whatiscx.com. We continue to be an advocate and trusted voice for the customer experience field.
  • We have refreshed the ability for you to manage your CXPA profile and issued new digital badges for you to show your membership and CCXP pride.
  • Regional Leadership Councils were launched across the globe with the involvement of 86 CX professionals dedicated to representing and progressing the CX profession in their region.

The Board was also briefed on the amazing work being done by volunteers to develop independent consensus-based resources for leading CX in organizations and results from the recent survey asking what you would like to see CXPA do in place of the 2022 Insight Exchange conference. While the findings indicated a range of expectations from members, there was a clear pattern of preference for investment in online participation opportunities and CXPA research. As a result, we are adding the following projects to CXPA’s 2022 plan of work:

  • A series of CXPA member presenter-led webinars on CX topics of interest.
  • An online peer sharing and networking cohort program to provide a safe space for questions and conversations.
  • Host a Fall virtual conference based on CXPA Research.

We will also continue to support CXPA networks in hosting online and in-person events, as well as partner on events with CX organizations that share a commitment to the CXPA CX framework.

Of course, we will also continue to work to promote the CCXP program, provide career support, improve our online experience, and listen to you to ensure that we support you to share, learn, inspire, and grow throughout your entire career.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Chair, and for your support of CXPA.  We are truly an organization that is built by its members and volunteers and I deeply appreciate all of your contributions!

Together in Advancing CX,

Nancy
