Bio

Alec Dalton, CCXP is a service scientist, best-selling author, and “30 Under 30” hospitality executive who inspires customer experience excellence. As Managing Partner of the Hospitality Leadership Academy, and as Executive Director of Accelerating Leaders, Alec helps organizations design exceptional guest experiences and executive education programs ... all with the goal of delivering five-star service. His expertise and passion were formed throughout a decade in the hospitality industry, including hotel operations and corporate roles with Marriott International, The Ritz-Carlton, and Disney.

Alec proudly serves on the advisory boards of HorizonCX and the Customer Institute, judges several international CX competitions, and co-authored the first two best-selling books in the
 Customer Experience series. He also co-authored and edited the textbook Operations Management in the Hospitality Industry. In 2021, the Customer Experience Professionals Association recognized him as an "Emerging Leader in CX". In 2022, the International Hospitality Institute has ranked him among the “Global Top 15 Hospitality Trainers”, the “Global Top 20 Hospitality Executives to Watch”, and “The 100 Most Powerful People in USA Hospitality”.
