  • 1.  Usability tools - Which are best?

    Hi everyone,

I am looking at options for a new client project and would like to know which usability testing tools this community has used most successfully.

Specifically, the client is in the process of finalizing a new membership application to be used online, mobile and on a tablet. They would like to do observational research where we enlist 10-15 people to go through the application process and provide feedback about the experience. In addition, they would like to have the analytics performed on the application process via a user experience tool.

    What would you recommend?

    Thanks in advance,
    MaryEllen

You might consider using conjoint analysis for your survey design.  In conjoint you dont necessarily need to have each respondent rate each attribute.  In conjoint you are doing trade-off analysis to find the best combination of attributes.
