    I was curious if anyone has used a customer panel for co-creation purposes.  If so what vendors did you consider? And why did you select the one you utilized?

    Holly,

    I presume from your question you are considering an online panel.  

    We are introducing Salesforce communities and that will include the ability to capture ideas for product and process improvement.  We use Salesforce extensively and are great believers in a single customer view.  This integrated capability is one more means of enhancing our knowledge of individual customers and thereby server them better.  Whatever you choose, I would advise integration with your customer database a key capability. 

    Other platforms worth looking include Lithium, Jive and GetSatisfaction.

    The other was an interview with Renee Racine-Kinnear, VP Customer Experience, Digital Channels at Indigo Books. I'm not sure what tools they use, but she's got lots of good tips for using customer panels. http://frankonlinemarketing.com/compete-against-amazon/
