Wondering if anyone has any metrics that proves that social selling reflects on CX vs the 'old school' stop by whenever and bring donuts.

    Kalyna,

Your post and question got me curious and so I did a little research.  Social selling is less about technology and more about relationship building and I have found that this must be harder than meets the eye because so many people still try to sell me on whatever it is they've got in their kit-bag without ever understanding me, my needs, my wants, my problems, or my dsesires.

Here's a short article from Forbes about Social Selling that was published almost a year ago that I feel nails the topic but unfortunately doesn'y provide the metrics you are looking for to prove it.

If you click through some of the links in the article that will lead to some further research on how incidental similarities helps to drive sales and the examples they give for Disney and Hilton just reminded me of how well this can work.  Donuts wouldn't work that well for me!!
