Bio

With over twenty years of hands-on work experience in various customer-facing environments, Chaman has refined his customer and employee experience skills to a delicate art. By pursuing his passion in this exciting new field of work, Chaman achieved the accreditation of Customer Experience Specialist (CXS)™ from CX University in 2019 - and was the first South African of color to do so.

After attending Ian Golding’s CX Masterclass and subsequently scoring full marks in Bruce Temkin’s ‘The Power of Experience Management’ course in 2020, Chaman persevered in his path of professional development and went on to earn the Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP)™ designation from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in 2021.

As a CX professional, founder, and director at Being Human, Chaman provides consultation and advisory services to a niche portfolio of clients, across a variety of industries - to help fast-track the elevation of their bottom-line results by advancing through five stages of CX maturity, to understand, design, and improve experiences across the entire customer relationship.

Chaman also shares his thought leadership on customer experience with the global CX community as an author, blogger, and contributor on customerthink.com, mycustomer.com, and cxm.co.uk.
