Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
Just a little bit about me, I'm working towards becoming a customer experience professional within the tourism attractions industry and have been working towards this goal for the past three years. On my journey, I have learnt a lot about the sector as a whole as well as foundations in customer experience.
I'm interested in learning more about staff engagement and customer-centric culture as I believe this the next step in defining my skill set to help clients.
I have worked in the sector for over 18 years, and organisations that I have worked with include Merlin Entertainment (the London Eye and Madame Tussaud's London) and Royal Albert Hall. I currently do contract work for the European Bank for Reconstruction and development in the events team as well as working with the Salvation Army in the USA for a total of 10 seasons assisting them with their summer camp programming and training.
I'm currently working as a consultant for ArcelorMittal Orbit in Stratford, London as a Visitor Experience Manager helping them smooth out their operations as well as dedicating time for staff training and enhancing the guest experience throughout the whole attraction. I will also be working with the relaunch of the Design Museum in London on a similar basis to my current assignment.
My aim is to become a leader of a customer experience within the tourist attractions industry, to educate and facilitate programs to enhance their guest's experiences as well as a staff engagement within the organisation and would like a mentor to help me achieve this ambition.
What I'm looking for in a mentor is somebody who can give me a better perspective of staff engagement and how to start a customer-centric culture program within an organisation.
