As CX professionals, we’re all looking for ways to use customer insights to drive change in our organizations. We try to understand on an emotional level what the customer needs. We talk about “empathy” and how we can improve – or develop – a deep understanding of those needs.
Let’s start 2020 with a fun networking event where you get to make a difference by exercising empathy towards those in need who utilize community resources to be able to feed their families. We will talk about what each of us is doing in our respective organizations to drive customer empathy.
Join us on January 15th at Loaves and Fishes in Naperville where we will hear from Shelly Schmitz, Director of Corporate & Volunteer Engagement, how this organization focuses on customer experience. On average, Loaves & Fishes serves almost 900 DuPage County families each week, 59% of those families with children. Loaves & Fishes provides clients with a wide variety of food choices – shelf stable, fresh vegetables, frozen items, milk, dairy, etc., in a traditional grocery store setting. Families with children receive additional items as part of the Child Nutrition Program.
In addition to food, Loaves & Fishes provides clients with:
- Emotional support services
- Job coaching
- Health screenings
- Financial workshops
- Computer classes
- Tax preparation assistance
- Emergency assistance programs
- And more
During this fun and rewarding evening, you will be packaging meals followed by group discussions as to how this experience relates to your own goals and vision around CX within your own organization. There will also be food and drink to round out our evening together.
