CCXP Exam Application Tips

Hi, everyone. I’m Stephanie Thum. I’m a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP), a founding member of CXPA from the Washington, D.C. area, and have been a CX practitioner and consultant for about 15 years.

I’m also the newest member of CXPA’s headquarters team. I’m so happy to now be part of the team, working closely with Diane Magers and our association management company.

New Function For CXPA

CCXP_Graphic_-_Copy.jpgI wanted to share with you one of the things that I’m working on for CXPA because it’s a new function within the organization.

You may be familiar with the Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) credential, and the examination that you’re required to take and pass before you get those four little letters behind your name—CCXP.

The exam application is what I wanted to write to you about.

As part of my role, I’m reviewing every incoming application for the CCXP exam. The purpose of that review is to make sure the candidate is qualified and prepared to take the exam (and hopefully pass!).

Exam Application Tips

We want you to be successful. So, here are a couple of tips to keep in mind when you’re completing your exam application.

1.     Be sure that you’ve thoroughly reviewed the candidate handbook on ccxp.org. This is a great resource for understanding the type, breadth, depth, and caliber of experience needed for the exam.

2.     When you’re completing your exam application, be sure to write down thorough, thoughtful answers that reflect your hands-on job experience as a CX professional in each of the six CX competencies.

More than 660 people have taken and passed the exam since it started. So, if you’ve taken and passed the CCXP exam, congratulations! And if you’re considering taking the exam, good luck!

Insight Exchange Exam

P.S. If you’re interested in taking the CCXP exam, and are coming to the Insight Exchange this May in New Orleans, you may be interested to know that to 20 candidates are expected to take CCXP exam as a group on May 10, 2018, the day after the main conference activities conclude. Apply for the Insight Exchange exam by April 20, 2018. Last year, more than a dozen candidates took the exam at the Insight Exchange and became CCXPs. You can find more information, including an overview of the application process and a CCXP exam candidate handbook, at www.ccxp.org.
