CXPA is Seeking Global Leaders—Are you One of Them?

Last week, CXPA announced that nominations for its Board of Directors and newly-established Regional Leadership Councils are now open.

 This week, we’re diving deeper into each opportunity. CXPA believes that, by including more voices and perspectives in the leadership of our association, we can better serve members wherever they are in the world.

CXPA Board of Directors—seeking 4 new members


Who Makes Up the Board?
  • 18 professionally diverse members
  • A minimum of four members from outside the U.S.

 

What Does the Board Do?

  • Provides overall leadership and governance decisions for CXPA
  • Develops the work plan, budget, and policies that guide the association’s staff and volunteer work
  • Collaborates with global, regional, and network leadership groups to shape policies and approaches

 

What’s My Commitment?

  • Attend 10 or more meetings per year—primarily video conference with possibility of in-person meeting if circumstances allow
  • Serve for a 3-year term
  • Maintain CXPA membership and any expenses related to participation, such as travel cost

 

CXPA Regional Leadership Council—seeking multiple new members around the world

 

Who Makes Up the Regional Leadership Councils?

  • Up to 8 members for each of 10 global regions (Oceania, Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, United Kingdom, Canada, Latin America/Caribbean, Brazil, and the United States)

 

What Does Each Regional Leadership Council Do?

  • Provides a channel to understand, communicate and celebrate CX in the region – enhancing the nuances lost with just a global perspective  
  • Provides a home within CXPA for individuals in a region that are not served by a Network
  • Increases the opportunity for leadership and voice for CXPA members in the region
  • Collaborates and communicates with CXPA board and staff to ensure that unique regional needs and perspectives are understood, including advising CXPA on the state of CX and the needs of CX professionals in the region

 

What’s My Commitment?

  • A one-year renewable term of service, up to three years
  • Attend quarterly meetings with the CXPA Board of Directors and staff
  • Keep open lines of communication with thought leaders in the Region, including Network leaders
  • Occasionally represent CXPA as a thought leader in the region by writing articles, speaking at events, or facilitating meetings between CXPA staff and stakeholders in the region
  • Share regional observations and trends based on your personal and professional experience
