Welcome to July! If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, July brings the “dog days” of summer—so named for the constant presence of the dog star, Sirius, that rises with the sun and is associated with hotter weather. If you find yourself indoors (and really, who among us hasn’t been spending wayyyy too much time indoors lately), it’s a perfect time to invest in yourself by growing your CX knowledge and strengthening your professional network.

CXPA is here to help.

Preparing to become a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP)

At CXPA headquarters, the global pandemic has caused each of us to evaluate how we can bring more value to our members and supporters. There’s been a ton of interest and inquiries to our collective inboxes around what it takes to become a CCXP—and you want to make sure you’re ready. We get it!

First, it’s important to make sure you meet the eligibility requirements for professional experience.

If you do, the next step is to figure out how you’d like to prepare – do you prefer a live class with other virtual participants? Would you rather study alone and access on-demand learning?

Clear on your goals? Let’s see what’s out there in July.

ClearAction Continuum—Lynn Hunsaker, CCXP

CXPA Recognized Training Provider? Yes—CXPA has confirmed that training modules align with CXPA competency framework, which forms the basis for the CCXP exam

ClearAction has Friday sessions this summer covering a different CCXP competency weekly, from 3:30-5 p.m. ET. This is free to past buyers of ClearAction courses and ClearAction Value Exchange. It’s discounted for new participants, which includes the live training session plus 30-minute instruction recording, myth-busters quiz game to discern the best among several good choices, suggested readings/podcasts, multiple-choice and true-false quizzes, gratis access to monthly instructor Q&A session, and adult learning essentials as an exam readiness litmus-test: topic exploration questions and topic mastery scenario questions. Alternatives to these CCXP live sessions are the subscription version, or the podcast version, online course, or standalone competencies.phone-2056487_1920.jpg

CXPA Webinars

We have some compelling topics lined up for you this month. First, we’re so excited to collaborate with Coach Daron Roberts on Thursday, July 9th (recording here) to discuss developing empathetic leaders. Coach Daron’s story—which took him on an unlikely journey from Harvard Law School to the National Football League where he embarked on a coaching career—will surely inspire and motivate you as you consider how to reach your best potential as a leader.

CXPA teamed up with Zendesk on July 16th to discuss how CX leaders can partner with their contact centers to demonstrate cost reduction and process improvements, all while improving customer outcomes.

On July 28th, our friends at Bond Brand Loyalty are talking about how CX professionals can help their organizations recover more quickly by designing the customer experiences our new reality demands.

Virtual Network Events

We’ve been hearing from our networks—and I’ll let you in on a secret: they love it when people from outside the area—even around the globe—join their calls.

There are so many great events happening in July--check out the events calendar for a full listing. And don’t forget that all of these online learning activities are eligible for CCXP renewal credit!

Stay cool, stay safe, and we’ll see you in August!
